This week in Victoria come out and enjoy some amazing Ska music. Dane Roberts and Christina Cheply talk about some of the performances and events going on through the week. From reggae to electronic to world beat there is something at Ska Fest for everyone. This year the organizers have reeled in some big names like ska legend Ken Booth, and the son of reggae himself, Ky-Mani Marley.

Christina Cheply also describes the Rocksteady Collective, an art show that will be going on throughout the festival. Rocksteady is ska inspired art that is full of colour and unique designs.

And finally Scot Amos the president of MediaNet talks about the Video Lab workshop going on this summer through MediaNet. Providing tools and technologies that were previously unavailable to most people, Video Lab offers courses on how to utilize these technologies. From interactive video to infrared sensors, there is an endless array of devices to learn about.

The workshops are geared towards artists who will showcase their final interactive video design at Open Space Gallery.
